We are a family of real world vampyres embracing the passion and mysticism of vampirism old and new. Vampires have been present in cultures worldwide for thousands of years. Myths, legends, historical and literary figures offer varying aspects of vampiric nature. We draw from all of these sources, to better understand our condition.
Menacing, erotic, shape shifting, immortal-all are characteristics associated with the vampyre. Although we do not profess to be supernatural in any way, we embrace the spiritual connotations of these legendary qualities. Darkness has become synonymous with evil in our modern world. Yet, the absence of light allows the presence of our primal emotions and insights. Death, dreams, the spirit world are all associated with the night, as well as the passions of pleasure and pain. We accept and celebrate our inner darkness in order to achieve a balanced and complete nature.
